Texas SNAP deposit schedule
Texas Health and Human Services ties the monthly SNAP deposit to the last two digits of the SNAP EDG number. Households approved before May 1, 2023 may still be on an older calendar. The award letter controls.

The current HHSC table
The Texas Works Handbook, section B-251, says households receive SNAP from the 1st through the 28th based on the last two digits of the EDG number. The EDG number is on the TF0001 award letter and in a Your Texas Benefits account. It is not the Lone Star Card number.
The handbook's bands run from 00–03 on the 1st through 96–99 on the 28th. For example, an EDG ending in 46 falls in 46–49, which the handbook lists as the 14th. The full table is on our Texas schedule page.
Cases approved before May 1, 2023
HHSC says SNAP households certified before May 1, 2023 keep the schedule they already had, unless benefits stopped for at least six months and the household applied again after that date. USDA's national compilation still describes an older Texas split. If the TF0001 letter names a day that does not match a website table, follow the letter and ask HHSC.
TANF cash is only three days
The same handbook section says TANF cash is available on the first three days of the month based on the last digit of the TANF EDG number: 0–3 on the 1st, 4–6 on the 2nd, and 7–9 on the 3rd. That is separate from the SNAP calendar.
HHSC's Lone Star Card FAQ says the SNAP deposit day is printed on the award letter. BenefitBoost cannot see your case. Do not enter a card number or PIN here.

Questions
Which number do I use, the EDG or the card?
HHSC uses the last two digits of the SNAP EDG number. The Lone Star Card number is for purchases and balance calls, not for this calendar.
Why does another website show a different Texas day?
Households certified before May 1, 2023 may still be on an older schedule. The TF0001 award letter is the date HHSC tells you to use.
When is TANF deposited?
The Texas Works Handbook puts TANF on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, based on the last digit of the TANF EDG number.
